Jernal was created because I love writing and want to be constant in my practice of it. However, I felt weird asking AI to generate prompts only for me to generate a response (the irony). Jernal was born from that. All prompts are human made with the goal being that the responses be human generated. While I think there is a time and a place for AI content, I do believe writing is best made by and for humans.
Writing is an art as much as painting, drawing, and sculpting. They are expressions of human passions. Much like these, writing also needs constant practice to build upon better and better techniques. I couldn’t find many apps, or websites, that I liked that had what I wanted: just a prompt and a text box, so I decided to make one.
It’s not perfect by any means, and I hope to improve upon it in the future, but for now that’s basically all this is; a prompt and a text box. A place for humans to use their ability to think and write out what they are thinking for themselves, and possibly for others. I hope you enjoy it.
